Notes:
In 1979 or 1980 a northern California boot seller/dealer who used to also wholesale to stores had a bunch of extra copies of Kiss My Axe which was no longer selling so the 25 or 50 copies he was sitting on he made a  new insert for and re-titled it in order to fool the stores and customers into thinking that it was a new release so the stores would buy it from him. He also did this for some other records he had too many copies of and the stores wanted something new. He did this with Pink Floyd, Blondie, Doors probably a few more... He had any idea that 10, 20 or 30 years later because of how few copies were made that they would go for $100+ for completist fans of these groups. I think he was wholesaling them to stores for $4.00 or $5.00 each.
Retailing them at record shows for $8.00 or $10.00. (story by: Tommy H. who knew the founder at the time). Another copy: (Front cover / Back cover)

Notes:
These bootlegs have basically the same vinyls as "Heaven on fie" Part 1 and 2. Which in turn is a re-issue of "Blows your head off" Part 1 and 2.
The latter we leave, but the interesting thing is how they chosed to paste over the existing label with a new label. One can see quite clearly that the original labels are from the "Heaven's on fire" bootleg. They have also chosen to make two new covers with inspiration from paper masks that came with the Japanese edition of
"Originals II". I have seen these bootlegs in three rounds on ebay, I know that there are at least two pairs exist. One might ask why I put them up here if it now seems pretty obvious. This page is also for those releases that may be fake, no one should ever have to be fooled by someone who only wants to earn extra money.
So far, these have been really expensive on ebay.

Notes:
This A4 insert paper release have appeared on ebay a couple of times. The picture is the same as found on the back of the original release.
If the insert is cutted or not? I do not believe it when the paper looks uncut print. Has anyone had produced a number of homemade wrappers, it sounds far-fetched.

A re-release of "Guns´n kisses"?, Only 33 copies made.

Tracklist:

Same tracklisting as "Guns´n kisses"

Notes:
There are several variants of various bootlegs, some with new covers, vinyls and others who might be called "stock-copies".
These "Stock-copies" are usually original printed vinyls left over, therefore there have been a new cover made.

This release and many others of the same design, I encountered for the first time in 2009. These are re-releases with new covers. The cover is in form of a A3 insert printed color paper with a back-flip encountered songlist. The back-flip says 33 copies. So far I have not seen any copy with written numbers. There are multiple copies of each release, but it´s impossible to say whether there really are 33 copies of each, especially without the numbering.

A4.Fits like a glove
A5.Country man
A6.Winchester cathederal

B1.Under the gun

B5.I love it loud

Notes:
Housed with a insert paper cover, the vinyl looks to be made of "Italian" version of "Live in California" but with scratched and modified matrix.
Matrix number 9-2-92 has been rubbed and replaced with 04-92. In addition, you could imagine that someone has worn away the original labels
very ugly without replacing with new. There have been a number of copies on ebay over the years. If these are identical involved I do not know.

This is obviously "Vintage Kiss" in new cover but some details are different from the original disc. This is different: Page numbering on the labels, the engraved matrix number is different, this disc has 1964/88 engraved before K1-A/B, side 1 has 1964/88 - K1-A and side 2 has 1964/88 - K1 B.
Someone may of course have carved it intend to hide en existing vinyl, but who knows?
